Heather Rose Jewelry~My Time Consuming Wiring Technique~

These Are more pics of my unique style of double wiring. This process is very time consuming, but I want a strong chain to hold my beads and my customers Love this! I get so many compliments on the fact that my pieces hold up very well. I use alot of nice thick wire to make sure that you never lose beads! If you view the close up of the chain you will see that my bead drops are double wraped directly to the chain, these are not split rings this is the bead top directly wired, doubled straight to the chain.

I used five beautiful vintage style silver lockets on this piece. Great for holding photos of children or loved ones. I used gorgeous lampwork glass rondelles in black with a splash of color, glass beads & crystal beads.

My favorite beads on this one are the red faceted crystal rondelles, they have a finish that looks like velvet.

Gemstone Butterflies Charm Bracelet

I just love the vintage look of the antique brass that I have been using. This piece has gorgeous jasper butterflies as well as antique brass butterflies. Freshwater pearls in sea green add some highlights to the brown beads used. I loaded this one with glass, crystal, acrylic & freshwater pearls.

A Mermaids Kingdom Charm Bracelet~Heather Rose Jewelry

I wanted to create something magical with this piece so I chose a Mermaid Kingdom theme. When I look at this piece I can just picture a beautiful kingdom beneath the oceans's surface. I chose assorted shades of blue and aqua that reminded me of the ocean, and used alot of gorgeous crystal & glass. The large 9x12mm crystal beads are my favorites on this piece. It is charmed with assorted sea themed charms in beautiful silver toned metal. I used a castle because my vision of a beautiful mermaid is her lisving in a castle under the sea. I was the first to incooperate this on my sites and have since found others using a castle on theur mermaid bracelets on those sites, which is common for others to use your jewelry as a muse at times, so be prepared if you are new to jewelry crafting, unfortunatly people will copy your ideas, never let it lead you astray though, no one can actually steal your gift, just your ideas.

Turquoise & Pink Crystal Charm Bracelet~Heather Rose Jewelry

I just love the way this bracelet turned out! I used lots of gorgeous turquoise nuggets, and complimented them with pink crystal & glass beadwork. The pink faceted crystal hearts are my favorite out of the 3 styles of hearts I used to charm this piece. They have a stunning a/b finish and are 3-d style, They just sparkle!

Heather Rose Jewelry~Wiring

I Have a very unique style of wiring when it comes to creating my jewelry. Being I use alot of heavy beads I wanted to create a system to hold the beads well. Gemstones and glass are quite heavy and you need a strong chain and a strong wire system. I want my pieces to last forever! I use a headpin to start with, add beads...then add 1 loop at the top...then I add another pin with a double loop. This single...double system creates a strong chain. I always make sure that the top loop is doubled like a split ring (like the one on a key chain). You will see the close ups on my designs of the chain with the doubled loops attached to the main chain. This is a very expensive method and time consuming as well. Instead of one bead totem (designers use the word totem to represent the pole that the beads are on) I joint the pins (I use 2-3 and joint them, there is alot of movement instead of the one bead stick). I use 3 sizes of pins to complete 1 bead drop from my chain.

My store fills up slowly due to the fact that I spend 3 hours per bracelet using this method. My customers compliment me on the fact that they never lose beads.
