Owls are my mothers favorite bird. As a child I remember her painting them when she had time. My mother was very talented with ceramics and she owned her own shop for awhile where she painted beautiful pieces which she sold, and she and my grandmother taught painting lessons for ceramics. I made this piece using altered art double sided image charms, Silvertone Owl Charms, Porcelain painted owls, a Tigereye Gemstone owl, and a Ton of glass beads, Many of the beads I used are Czech Glass in assorted pressed and faceted surfaces.
